Even gold looks pretty in pink! It’s such a soft and feminine twist on yellow or white gold, although I love them all worn together, too, like these bangles. I guess this kind of falls into the “everything old is new again,” since now that I think about it one of my first boyfriends gave me a rose gold pendant in the shape of….a rose! That was about 25 years ago…

Hallie Berry wore rose gold earrings (set with rose cut diamonds) from Le Vian to the Silver Rose Gala and Auction, held April 27 in Beverly Hills. Now there’s a theme! I wanted to post a pic of Halle, too, but they’re too big to upload. If you get a chance to google her, you’ll see how beautiful she looks post-baby. That girl cannot NOT look gorgeous.

Rose gold, also called red or pink gold, is an elegant metal. Its pink tint creates a unique look and adds a touch of romantic to jewelry.

I LOVE the look! I wish I looked as good as Hallie just by wearing these. Where’s a good place to get a nice set of tri-color rings online?

I love rose gold, especially in retro pieces. There’s this fantastic estate jewelry website, http://www.beladora.com, which has some really spectacular pieces.
I’m a history student, and I love how jewelry reflects specific time periods. For example, military and artillery-inspired styles were extremely popular during WWII and because platinum was conscripted by the government, jewelry was mainly made in shades of gold. Rose gold was especially popular and there’s something incredibly charming about having such masculine, and aggressive styles in such a soft and feminine metal.
The two WWII rose gold pieces I think most exemplify this style and period from that website are:

I agree I also like Rose gold. There is just something so different about it> Believe it or not i think that rose gold has some sort of glow to it. With rose gold you can accessorize it very well with almost anything that you wear whether its day wear or night wear. What does everyone else think??
